St. Mary's Teens are hosting a Parish Advent Celebration for all ages on Sunday evening, December 8th beginning at 6:30 PM in the Parish Hall.  We also invite St. Mark's families/parishioners.  There will be food, family advent wreath making and activities for kids.  Please plan to attend and bring a friend if you would like!  There will be a signup sheet in the gathering space and more will be posted in next week's bulletin.
  • ST. MARY'S GIVING TREE +

The Giving Tree sponsored by the Veritas Teen Group is now up in the gathering space.  We are collecting for Catholic Charities this year.  Their traveling Food Pantry Mobile Unit serves Pike County on a regular basis and is always in need of food items (canned and dry goods, toilet paper, laundry detergent, hand soap, shampoo and other needed everyday items). Their regular pantry also needs items, and they have families in their program that are in need of clothing, etc.  There will be a list posted in the lobby designating their specific needs.  The pantry and families are always short on perishable items -- meats, millk, cheese, etc.  Monetary donations are welcomed in order to purchase these items.  Checks should be made to Catholic Charities and put in the collections bucket in the giving ree or turned into the parish office.  The money will be collected frequently.  All items should be under the tree by Sunday, December 15, so that we can get them delivered to Catholic Charities and then the families have them in time for Christmas.  Thank you in advance for helping provide this much needed Act of Charity!
